John Gainey

John is a fearless creator.

 

His storytelling abilities and imagination are incredible, and he has been drawing since 2003. All his characters and stories display depth, likability, and passion, keeping his audience hooked and interested all the way through. He always practices politeness and humility whenever he interacts with anybody, making him extremely approachable and flexible. He has been developing a concept TV show for twelve years, and plans to get it up in the air, no matter the cost. His talents won him over 15k in scholarship funds in his high school days, and produced a 5 minute indie animation. He wants to take the next big step into the Film Industry.

Although technically majoring in a BFA for 2d animation, John Gainey is striving to become a director/ showrunner training at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, hoping to release or work on animated short films done by him, or others. He lives in an apartment in Texas with his girlfriend working two jobs to make ends meet, treating every customer he serves like family. His only soul regret is his mom not living to see him grow into such an accomplished artist. After nearly experiencing death firsthand, surviving an abusive household, and losing his mom, very little things can stop him in his momentum for greatness.
